Wireshark · Ethereal-dev: [ethereal-dev] More routines in wiretap

Hi,

since I am looking at prettying up that program that Guy and I have worked
on as an edit capture program, I am in need of the following routines:

1. A routine that takes a name like NetMon, Snoop, etc, and returns a
capture file type to be given to wtap_dump_open as the type of capture file
to open.

2. A routine that takes a name like UNKNOWN, NULL, ETHERNET, etc and
returns an encapsulation type, like WTAP_ENCAP_ETHERNET etc.

It would also be nice to have routines that can list all of the capture
file formats supported for writing and all the encapsulation types supported.
