Thanks for the replies. I prefer to ask before opening a bug report, in
case it is something I'm doing wrong or a known issue. I did check the
Wireshark bugzilla first and didn't find anything.

Gerald, my gcc is 4.8.2 (Slackware 14.1). People using Slackware-current
probably have gcc-5.2.0. The bug report you linked to is the same crash,
but it was written against 3.4.4 and fixed also on 3.4.4 ? (I don't get
that). No it probably does not apply.

I will open a Wireshark bug report so this can be tracked, unless anyone
has any ideas.
