Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] wireshark display of streaming audio

Hello!

I am trying to interpret the packet information given by Wireshark as a result
of streaming audio.

Once contact has been established between my router and the IP of the
streaming server, contact is only between two servers that are nothing to do
with me. There appear to be no packets passing to me, or rather my router,
at all, but I am listening to the music, and have been for over an hour
(throughout which time there has apparently been nothing passed to my
router).

And why does Wireshark quote my router's internal IP, and not its external
one, when contact is being established in the first place?

These are probably not the right questions. Google certainly thinks that they
are not. But I am hoping that a human being will be able to disentangle what
I am saying, and answer the question that I ought to have asked.

Thanks,
Lisi
