Subject: [Wireshark-users] Interfaces not listed in Ethereal

Hi,

I am trying to use Ethereal and it does not list my interfaces on my laptop. For a fact, it does not list any interface. I am only seeing the Adapter for generic Dialup and VPN capture in the interface list.

I see that NPF driver is not started. Even when I try to start it manually it does not start it. Below is the configuration of my setup.

OS: Windows XP SP3
Ethereal Version: 0.10.10
WinPcap Version 4.0.2

Instaliing any other combinations of ethereal and WinPCap does not help.   Can somebody please help. I have been having this problem for the past one week without any fix.
