I'm testing a development version of rt2860 driver for FreeBSD sometimes i need to do a capture using wireshark with radiotap header, on FreeBSD everything works great, but when i tryed to do the same on linux box i got this message:
root@sng-desktop:/# tshark -i ra0 -w test.pcap -y IEEE802_11_RADIO
Running as user "root" and group "root". This could be dangerous.
Capturing on ra0
tshark: Unable to set data link type (IEEE802_11_RADIO is not one of the
DLTs supported by this device).
Please report this to the Wireshark developers.
Is it woreshark or linux driver related issue?? Is there any way to run wireshark with radiotap header on ubuntu ??
