hi everyone, can you guys help me out with this error message?

today when i tried to start wireshark on my eeepc 900a linux, i got the error:

"the file /tmp/xxxx8l1hsu could not be opened: uncompression error: buffer error"

what does it mean? i use wireshark 0.99.4.
