Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] speed up build process for target wireshark

I'm playing with a private dissector at my system and wondering how can I
speed up the compile step.

I added packet-sametime.c to DIRTY_DISSECTOR_SRC of Makefile.common and do
than in the root directory :

$>make wireshark

but that doesn't is produce a wireshark target w/o all changes I made to my
dissector. OTOH a

$>make

within the root directory builds up a lot of unwanted things.

What is the best way to speed up the build process for the target wireshark ?
