Hi,
I am using D-Link DWL-G122 usb based WiFi card with ralink drivers. I cant sniff packets which are not destined for my machine. (I am using wireshark). when i read my log file i find
Sep 20 13:23:57 localhost kernel: device eth1 entered promiscuous mode
Sep 20 13:26:37 localhost kernel: device eth1 left promiscuous mode
but I cannot capture packets which are not destined for my machine. I have also tried to use Libpcap to do the job. but i could not sniff the packets.
what could be the reason?
