I don’t think PPP captures are going to help with your DSL stability.  I
would look first at seeing if you can query your DSL modem (mostly likely
using its web page) to look at the SNR and error stats...they provide a
wealth of detail.

I'd like to log such ppp packets due to DSL stability issue I currently have
with my provider.
