I had two problems, which may be related.
First, I appear to have been able to register, but when I tried to
assign myself a user name, it rejected it saying that it needed to
consist of only letters, numbers and a few punctuation characters. That
was strange because it was only letters. It didn't allow "beroset" but
it let me use "eberoset" which suggests there may be a duplicate account
from a previous attempt.
Second, I tried to associate an email address. I got the confirmation
email clicked on the link and then it gave a cryptic error message at
first, but after my second attempt it now says "Error: Identity in use
by another account."
I imagine that it might be possible for an admin to delete one or both
accounts and I could try again.
