I believe they are automatically triggered on commits to the respective branches.

 

 

Is there a reason why the projects contain different buildbots (e.g. the petri-dish doesn't contain the osx buildbot)?

Yes...
Petri Dish using AWS EC2 VM but no OS X is availble on AWS...
but now Wireshark 2.0 is available, we will see for make some infra change... (i hope !)
