macosx-setup.sh has

    mv /usr/local/bin/libtool /usr/local/bin/glibtool
    mv /usr/local/bin/libtoolize /usr/local/bin/glibtoolize

so it *should* rename them to "glibtool" and "glibtoolize", but if you don't have write permission on /usr/local/bin, that'll fail.

What does "ls -ld /usr/local/bin" print?
