Ah, OK, so I wasn't too far off with my idea that you might have a reason
for that ;) So either it's setting these flags or using petri dish to do
the platform testing.

@Gerald:
Which reminds me: Are the scripts for the windows buildbots available
somewhere? If so, I could create a modified version that will (optionally)
replace the nmake build by the (more or less) equivalent cmake + msbuild
steps. That way we could test cmake windows builds as well.
