If we want to go this way (use glib macros directly), we can also kill BSWAP16, BSWAP32, BSWAP64 macros, and replace with:
GUINT16_SWAP_LE_BE, GUINT32_SWAP_LE_BE, GUINT64_SWAP_LE_BE
