I haven't seen this when I used 1.0.4.
  
Possibly you have the directory 'k:\aliases\common' on your path before the cygwin bin directory in the command prompt you are using to build wireshark.  The later version of Wireshark expects to find rm.exe from cygwin but finds rm.BAT
