Hi,

Fixed in Committed revision 24360.

I found it referenced in ETS 300 599: December 2000 (GSM 09.02 version 4.19.1)

With the comment:

                       * -- alertServiceCentreWithoutResult must not be used in

                       * -- version greater 1

Regards

Anders

Hi all,

I'm tracing a GSM Map message which is not being fully decoded. I presume its an older MAP version 1 message while the ASN code is built on MAP version 2 or 3 and thus the packet type is depreciated. At least I couldnt find the specification in the 3GPP document for it anymore ony a reference to its name. Never the less, the system should be able to decode it and display, maybe with a warning.

Could anyone give a hint on how to solve this? Attached is a trace of such a invoke map operation 49.

I'm getting

                      Unknown invokeData blob

                      BER Error: This field lies beyond the end of the known sequence definition
