Have you tried to add your G729 codec to the codecs used by the RTPplayer? If you do that there should be no need

for extara menus.

It is possible to add things to the statistics menu from a plug-in, but
there is no simple method for adding a new menu from a plug-in.  What
are you trying to add to the menus?

I write plugin for decode rtp-traffic encoded with G729.
I need to store payload from trace. That's why a menu item should be inserted into Statistics menu.
