OK: I need a hint !
I did the following:
1. svn update ....
2. "nmake ... setup libs" to update existing set of libraries (if required)
The following were downloaded and unzipped, etc:
- pango-1.12.3
- pango-dev-1.12.3
- gtk+-2.8.20
- gtk+-dev-2.8.20
- glib-2.12.1
- glib-dev-2.12.1
- cairo-1.1.2
- cairo-dev-1.2.2
- libpng-1.2.8
(I don't think there were any other downloads).
3. "nmake ... maintainer-clean"
4. "nmake .... "
The compile/build/install_deps, etc seemed to go OK
with no obvious error messages.
(Note: I've edited config.nmake to build only GTK2)
5. "cd wireshark-gtk2"
"wireshark"
I then get (in a popup window)
"Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango shape):
assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs >0)
Is there some additional setup required ??
(or something needs to be changed for the 'install-deps') ??
( or ??)
