I have a 1000 packet randpkt generated tracefile which also triggers the same
NCP error message.   In my case Wireshark was running under vagrant when
Wireshark crashed.  I salvaged the randpkt generated capture from the Linux
VM's /tmp folder and reproduced the crash on OS X 10.11.6 using buildbot
version 2.3.0-839-g0850c1f.   Using editcap -c 1 I split the 1000 packet
capture into individual single packet captures.  Each of these individual
captures also triggers the same crash with both Wireshark and tshark.  I'll be
attaching OS X's crash report along with console output and the first packet
from the randpkt generated trace file.
