If I open https://ask.wireshark.org/ there's a "login" link at the top of the
page. Clicking that takes me to https://ask.wireshark.org/account/signin/ . 

On that page there's a box titled "Enter your local user name and password"
which contains the link "Create an account". Clicking on that link takes me to
https://ask.wireshark.org/account/local/register/ , which offers to create a
local, non-OpenID account. Does that happen for you?


The accounts on bugs.wireshark.org, wiki.wireshark.org, code.wireshark.org,
ask.wireshark.org, and blog.wireshark.org aren't synchronized at the present
time.
