Lua is not updated that often and they only seem to do tarball releases (unless
I missed their real source repo) so if we would start bundling it, it should
not be that much of a maintenance burden.
But since Lua is an optional feature and 5.2 is just available, I don't think
this is needed though. Anyone who would like to have Lua support can take care
of this small dependency themselves. Most (all?) distros and our Windows builds
have it.
(Leaving this bug open though in case lua_bitop suddenly gains 5.3 support?)
