> As indicated in 5902 it crashed Jeff's system which runs X11. :-(
Fortunately the fix for bug 2630 fixed that crash so we can increase the limit
now.
(But that isn't really the subject of this bug; that was the subject of bug
5902. I *think* the problem here is still that the silence isn't exported.
