This is implemented to be configured per column, and it seems to work like you
want when I test this. Can you please check again if this is configured for
all columns at your end? Also can you post the "gui.column.format:"
configuration from your 'preferences' file? This should indicate :R for
resolved columns and :U for unresolved columns.
We could probably also add this setting to the Columns preferences.
