I did not expect bricking my computer by ticking a box in the installer for a
stable version of Wireshark.
I don't know how frequent the issue I hit is, nor how frequently people require
USBPcap, but losing mouse and keyboard access to a system is crippling. I
couldn't login and couldn't even begin attempting to fix the issue until I
dusted off an old PS/2 keyboard.
I know this is not a Wireshark issue per se, but it becomes one when you
distribute this software as part of your installer.
Seeing as there were 2 different reports of a similar issues (3 with mine) on a
low activity project (24 bug reports over 2 years), I was left with the
impression this issue might have been common.
If anything, let this bug be a place for people to report hitting the issue.
