Both the Qt and GTK (Legacy) version of Wireshark will crash when attempting to
use the GUI's File / Merge ... feature. The same feature works fine on OS X
with with Qt Wireshark.

To replicate:

1 - On a Windows system open Wireshark

2 - Open the first attached capture file: icmp-request.pcapng. This file
contains a single well-formed ping request packet.

3 - Select the File / Merge ... feature to open the "Wireshark: Merge with
capture file" dialog.

4 - In the Merge with capture file dialog select the second attached capture
file: icmp-response.pcapng. This file contains a single well-formed ping reply
packet.

5 - Now press the "Open" button and Wireshark will crash.

Note: This bug MAY be related to Bug 10571 but in this case the crash occurs
with a well formed trace files.
