There is a further issue here: not all SSDP systems use port 1800 - my router
seems to like port 5000 instead (I think this is an older port assignment). As
SSDP is not recognised as a protocol in its own right, these packets are
displayed as malformed. But port 5000 cannot be assigned to SSDP, one has to
use HTTP instead. OK, this allows you to see the text OK, but is a bit kludgy.
