Actually, *great* joy, as I was expecting the compile to fail; I would have
been greatly disappointed if it *hadn't* failed! The whole reason for doing
this is to find out why the configure script isn't disabling SSE 4.2 support.
Please attach the config.log file from the build directory to the bug.
