This is a strange way for Wireshark to display this field though, no?  It would
seem to make more sense for Wireshark to display it more simply, something
like:

    Length of the padded "original datagram": 356

rather than:

    Length of original datagram: 89 Length of original datagram: 356

Another modification that could be made would be for Wireshark to highlight the
2 still unused bytes and even add an expert info if they are found to be
non-zero, since, according to RFC 792:

                                                            Any field
   labeled "unused" is reserved for later extensions and must be zero
   when sent
