I can confirm the bug with my build from last month which doesn't contain your
patch: the "metric_sint64" field of my event shows "1" when analyzing the pcap
above, where the "metric_f" field displays "4.29497e+09".

Let me know if I can do anything else, and thanks a lot for correcting this !
