Recently I wrote pure Lua dissector for JGroups[1] and would like to request to
apply to mainstream Wireshark in the near future.
But before that, there is no pure Lua dissector in mainstream yet, and also no
mechanism, documents and policies for it.
My request (question)

Will Wireshrk mainstream accept pure Lua dissector for mainstream? Altough I
don't know how the project policies of Wireshark is determined by core
developers, I want them to clarify this point.
If mainstream will accept it, I will submit a new feature request for the
mechanism to accept pure Lua dissector, which is disscussed in [2].
