No it doesn't work.  Pre-git I got as far as making it work solely with ELF
files and there were definite hacks to make that possible.  The very large
patch attached to the bug is another step in the right direction
architecturally, but also isn't enough to make it work.

I still haven't gotten over the git/Gerrit hump, but I wasn't going to have
that large patch be in my first experiences.  Does it make sense to create a
remote tfshark branch for collaboration or will that not get enough exposure? 
It would be with the intent of not merging it back to the master until it
supports more than ELF files, probably at least pcap files.
