Set structure to 0
I couldn't duplicate the call stack of comment #2 on my Windows setup, but with
r51798 providing some relief, I thought zeroing out the whole structure would
be better/clearer. The se_new0 is also less expensive than it used to be
because the 20k of "blob data" has been removed.
