We have found an issue where Wireshark does not record outbound packets when
running the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention (HIP) 8.0 firewall. Has anyone
else reported this issue? Currently the only workaround is to disable the
firewall on the system, which is an undesirable workaround.
We have done testing with some other packet capture programs, such as Net Mon,
to see if it is a general behavior within HIP and we have not been able to
reproduce the behavior.
