Yes, "where some or all of the third-party packages used by Wireshark are
installed" and "where Wireshark will be installed" aren't necessarily the same
place.

A --with option to set a directory in which to search for packages, rather than
requiring multiple --with arguments for a system with multiple third-party
packages installed somewhere other than under /usr/local, might be useful.
