Summary: "Hw src addr (unresolved)" column shows resolved MAC
addresses when View: Name Resolution: MAC resolution
                    set
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: 1.6.8
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Trivial
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark
        AssignedTo: bugzilla-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: trismarck@xxxxxxxxx

Build Information:
Version 1.6.8 (SVN Rev 42761 from /trunk-1.6)

"Hw src addr (unresolved)" column shows resolved MAC addresses when View: Name
Resolution: MAC resolution set

When I add this column to my visible columns set, the column contents should
_always_ be _unresolved_ MAC addresses (or any other L2 addresses?). The View:
Name Resolution option overrides the "(unresolved)" column setting (if MAC
resolution ON, the column displays 'resolved' MAC addresses, even though the
column itself states that is shows 'unresolved' hw addresses). This shouldn't
happen, as there are separate columns for:
- unresolved hw address
- resolved hw address
- hw address (only this column should discern, whether MAC address resolution
is actually enabled or not).

Cheers.
