In Wireshark 1.6.8, when IO Graphs is selected during a live capture, the
display scrolls continuously from right to left so that one can always see the
traffic currently being captured and no horizontal scroll bar is visible until
the traffic has scrolled all the way from the right edge to the left edge and
can no longer all be displayed at once in the display window.

In Wireshark 1.9.0-SVN-43578 the display does not scroll properly. If IO Graphs
is selected immediately after the live capture is started, only the first few
seconds of the capture are visible in the display window. A horizontal scroll
bar pops up immediately, and the only way to see the traffic currently being
captured is to keep pulling the scroll bar to the right manually.

Three screenshots are attached.

1. The first shows IO Graphs in Wireshark 1.6.8. The display has scrolled
almost, but not quite, to the left edge. There is no horizontal scroll bar
visible.

2. The second is also 1.6.8. In this one, the display has reached the left
edge. The horizontal scroll bar is now visible, but the IO graph display
continues to scroll from right to left so that traffic currently being captured
is always visible at the right side of the graph.

3. The third one is version 1.9.0-SVN-43578. The capture has been running for
15 seconds, but the display is not scrolling and less than 5 seconds of traffic
is visible in the display window.

This behavior is also seen in Wireshark 1.8.0.
