Thanks for the detailed explanation :)
I missed the update of the filters in packet-bootp.c between 1.6.X and 1.8, so
for sure this is the same thing as bug 2402.
As a workaround, and so as to restore a behavior similar to 1.6.X branch, maybe
be could consider renaming the new bootp.option.value filters with something
like bootp.option.value.8bits and co ?
