Works for me; I tried it both with File -> Quit and closing the window with a
capture in progress.
Presumably you don't have the "don't ask me about unsaved captures" preference
enabled (I don't either, but if I turn it on, it quietly stops the capture and
closes the file). If you're truly getting "Stop and Quit without Saving", you
probably were capturing with "Update list of packets in real time" - is that
the case?
