OK, so the name of the compiler (cc vs gcc) doesn't really tell us which it is.

And the compiler you were using at the time wasn't error'ing out because of the
unknown option either, so we can't use AC_WIRESHARK_GCC_CFLAGS_CHECK if we can
add that option.

Maybe the --version output's string of "Based on Apple Inc. build" could tell
us that it's Apple's version of GCC?
