A consequence of this change is that if you save the entire capture with "Save
As", the file is saved and then reread, as it should be (well, it really
shouldn't be, but there's a bit of infrastructure work needed to avoid having
to do that), but the main window then reverts to the welcome screen.
It might be confusing and surprising, but Wireshark really *IS* loading the
capture file after saving in that case!
