Hmm, I hadn't realized that.

The patch I attached ("Make inputint and outputint fields UINT32s instead of
UINT16s") fixes the problem when applied against SVN trunk, so I guess your
only option for now is to check out trunk, apply the patch and build yourself a
copy. Hopefully someone with commit access will come along soon and commit it
for the next 1.7.x release, but until then there's not much I can do.
