ANCP Bulk Transaction Capability (Bulk Messages) is NOT actually supported by
the current RFC 3292 (GSMPv3) standard. The bulk feature was once exposed and
included in the GSMPv3 Base Spec draft (draft-ietf-gsmp-v3-base-spec-07.txt),
but then unexpectedly(!!) removed from the final proposed standard RFC 3292. It
is not clear now, what should the old implementations of ANCP protocol (with
support of Bulk Messages) do now on ANCP controllers (BRAS) and DSLAM's, when
the latest GSMPv3 standard does not say a word about this feature.

Anyway, it is not directly a problem of Wireshark, as I can understand. So you
can close now this BugCase 7140, as it concerns only the Bulk Transaction
Capability which is "not supported" any more by the current ANCP standardf (RFC
3292).

It is interesting, that the reported effect "Empty Info field" (for ANCP bulk
packets) disappeared on the next day on the same WinXP PC with the same
Wireshark version! The info field contains now correct "Port-Up Message" or
"Port-Down Message". I had seen indeed dissector errors of Wireshark for some
bulk packets. Possibly the reason of the failure was really the problem of the
old ANCP dissector in this Wireshark version.

Thus, I suggest to suspend or close this issue. I changed the Status to
RESOLVED and LATER. OK? Thank you very much!
