When I type a filter it is remembered in the recent filters list. I can quickly
jump back to a recently used filter by clicking the drop-down arrow by the
filter field and choosing my filter.

The problem with this is that jumping back to a filter does not bump it to the
top of the list. Suppose I am switching between filter A and variations on
filter A. After 10 variations, filter A will fall off the bottom of the list
and I will need to type it again.
