Patch that avoids the crash.
Regardless of my earlier observations, this simple patch against r40162 avoids
the crash, and I can successfully load the capture file into Wireshark. Tested
on Windows XP x86. Not sure if this is the best way to fix this though, so
I'll just submit it here for review.
