This problem does show when launching the site's 1.6.3 32-bit Intel Mac build
on my 32-bit-only Intel MacBook running Mac OS X 10.6.8 (and XQuartz 2.7.0, if
that might be relevant).

The proposed 'Wireshark 1.6.4pre1-39728 Intel 32.dmg' launches without such
fault.

As an aside, when trying to downgrade to 1.6.3 to see if the fault persisted,
running the installer did not get rid of the newer version. Deleting the .app
directory did lead to a successful installation, though I wonder if there are
files elsewhere which might not have been downgraded. Whatever the case, 1.6.3
would still not launch.
