Yes, this is intentional. It is a bug in the dissector (since there is no ERF
header, in fact). Without this patch, the provided capture will not be
displayed correctly, since the ERF dissector overwrites the
pinfo->pseudo_header.atm.type field.
I agree that it actually is somewhat unrelated and can supply it as a separate
patch/bug, if you wish. Our intention was to avoid filing multiple bugs that
actually depend on each other for successful dissection.
