Wireshark stores its configuration files in "$HOME/.wireshark". However, there
is a specification from freedesktop.org which defines some directories where
applications should store their config files. The specification can be found
here - http://standards.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec/basedir-spec-latest.html.
Wireshark should support it.
