Good point.  I use the NVIDIA Control Panel software that came with my Quadro
FX card.

Still, Wireshark behaves differently from other programs.  I can manually move
a program like Firefox into the off-screen area, but when I close and reopen it
the program won't restore into that area - it arranges itself so that it starts
out visible.
