It looks like :set() was broken too, but a fix for :set() was applied to trunk
in SVN rev 34618, but has not been fixed in trunk-1.4, from which your build
appears to come [I'm not a wireshark developer so I could well be mistaken].
Maybe try wireshark 1.5.x using :set ?
The patch to trunk was applied as a result of bug 5326:
