Jake,

Agreed. My observations:
1. I did not want to corrupt the RTP solutions with a fold. Now that the DIS
solution is working it is easier to see the common code and regression test
both the DIS and RTP products with assurance of not breaking the RTP product.
2. The DIS voice protocol(w/ no SSRC) is not nearly as robust as RTP and there
is only a one way broadcast paradigm (no reverse). This makes the analysis of
each much different.
3. I believe the RTP jitter buffer logic may be flawed. It relies too much
upon tx timestamps instead of what the receiver is experiencing. Should I post
my concerns to the WS development community?

Finally, I'm in a time pinch for the near future. The simulator community has
a need for this solution now (last year actually). Can you accept the patch as
is with the understanding of my future contributions including code
optimizations/reductions?

Kind Regards,
Chuck
